The Vincent House Comfort Care Facility

The Vincent House is a two-bedroom home for the terminally ill. We offer compassionate care to those determined by their physicians to be within the last three months of their lives.

A referral to Vincent House ensures that care is supervised and continues. Our care focuses on pain control, symptom relief and on meeting the spiritual and emotional needs of the resident, family and friends.

There is never a charge to the resident or family, nor does Vincent House receive any health care reimbursement. The cost of operating the Vincent House is covered by donations from the community, memorials, and fundraising activities.

Vincent House receives referrals from families, physicians, human service agencies, hospitals, and area hospices. Admission to the Vincent House is based on need. Priority is given to those who cannot receive adequate care at home.

We often hear people say they never knew a place like Vincent House existed. This proves how we often do not notice something until that something or someone has touched our lives. If you are looking at our website now, it is probably going to be the beginning of a journey that can be life changing.

People turn to Vincent House often in time of desperate need. We help take the chaos out of a stressful time. We are often not prepared on knowing how to feel or what to do when faced with someone dying. We at Vincent House will help guide you through this process.

We try very hard to take the doom and gloom out of the equation. We have helped celebrate holidays, birthdays, and cocktail parties. We have taken people to the hairdressers, shopping, church, plays, out to eat, and the list goes on and on. We have even had people “graduate” from Vincent House.

We will do what ever is necessary for someone to LIVE the rest of their life.
